New Beat Posted on SoundCloud!

Hey all,

Apologize for the hiatus, life was busy happening while I was making other plans and intending to be a true grinder :). Anywho, I've got a new instrumental up on SoundCloud for your listening consumption. The recorded track will be soon to follow. The song has a pretty frantic pace and the pace of the flow will match it, but it won't be utterly unintelligible, in most parts anyways :p.

Because I'm such a nice guy, I've decided to save you the trouble of going all the way to soundcloud.com/realatticusrex (because who has time to type in web addresses anymore, right?), and post the new instrumental right here on this very blog! Isn't that fantastic? Now that you're sufficiently underwhelmed, here is the much (over) hyped song. Stay tuned for more productions.

Track is called "Cancer Culture" for all those interested. Writing a blog is hard with ADHD and a mountain range of things to do.

The Blakk Superman on Coast2Coast #MakinMoves Vol. 263

So the tandem of myself and JR-15 seems to be one that can do some pretty awesome work seeing as how we've made it onto another Coast 2 Coast Mixtape for the song "The Blakk Superman". Just a quick note, the double k isn't because I'm a Crip or any other kind of gangbanger. I just believe that the old idea of black is corrupted and in need of a change for Afro-Americans to truly advance.

But that's neither here nor there and a discussion for another time.

This post is all about "The Blakk Superman" and taking another step towards the dream. You can scope the song and the other tracks on Coast 2 Coast's #MakinMoves Mixtape Vol. 263. We came in at #36 this time which is a full 20 spots higher than our last collab "A Boom and A Clap" so it looks like we might really be #MakinMoves (horrible joke but I couldn't resist the setup).

Anyways, congrats to JR-15 for the great production work with this track and to all the other artists who are on Vol. 263 and #MakinMoves right along with us. Hope y'all enjoy the track and hope we all keep #MakinMoves and #keeprisingandgrinding.

So I was SO excited about making the Coast 2 Coast Mixtape Vol. 273, I decided to try to do it again! Hoping that luck and work will carry me to another spot and more exposure! I'm looking to get into Vol. 277 of Coast 2 Coast's Mixtape and to be frank I could use a vote or two :) This time I'm riding with my very first song, a track called "Strange Beauty" which is also the only song I've ever performed in a real venue. I really dig this song and I'm hoping the world will to.

Unlike most of my creations, this one's title is pretty self descriptive. I'm trying to get a spot on Coast2Coast Mixtapes with my latest, and probably favorite track so far, A Boom and A Clap. I'm not saying I did at all, but I definitely tried to get my Kanye West on with this track. For me, pulling a Kanye is opening up the soul to the world with no fear and I hope I was able to accomplish that here. Hopefully enough to get you and others to put me on this mixtape!
